What You’ll Do
The Financial Services Advisor (FSA) position is responsible for the promotion and sale of deposit, investment and credit products and services offered by the credit union. This position actively solicits new business and builds the membership through sound financial advice and exceptional service as well as is responsible for initiating action to improve growth and development of the credit union by pursuing new business and establishing and maintaining community contacts. You will share your motivation, superior communication, time management and prioritizing skills and build relationships with the communities which we serve.
What Does the Ideal Candidate Bring?
Qualifications for the role include two years post-secondary formal education in a general business program plus two to five years’ experience in the financial industry, including a minimum of one-year experience in lending; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. We are looking for an individual who would like to continue their advisory services career. The ideal candidate has superior communication, time management, prioritizing skills and is self-motivated to build and grow the membership of the credit union. The successful incumbent will be adept at problem solving, decision making, establishing strong working relationships, and demonstrating excellent sales and communication skills.
