Floral Merchandising Representative

**Job Overview**

Scott Conner Human Capital Solutions is recruiting for a Regional Floral Merchandiser to work in a designated region on behalf of growers to merchandise plant programs in large retailers on a contract basis.

You will be responsible for working your store(s) within your area to locate incoming orders, ensure they are placed on the sales floor, manage inventory counts, pricing, and provide maintenance on all items in the retail locations in a designated region.

The ideal candidate will have a lifestyle fit with flexible schedules, enjoy working independently, and possess floral or plant maintenance knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

• Locating and placing incoming orders on the sales floor
• Managing inventory counts and pricing
• Providing maintenance on all items in the retail locations

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you must be able to:

• Bend, lift, push, and pull items 20-50lbs during the course of your shift
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Have floral or plant maintenance knowledge
• Provide excellent customer service skills
• Be personable and build strong relationships
• Learn new information quickly
• Multitask and efficiently manage time
• Troubleshoot and solve problems
• Have merchandising or retail experience

Access to a cell phone with data for online reporting is required for this position.
