Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end design process utilizing Civil 3D for municipal and infrastructure planning projects.
• Participate in full-service design of Civil/Municipal engineering projects.
• Design storm water management systems, site grading, sanitary sewer, and water distribution systems.
• Interpret topographic information required for design.
• Complete technical analysis of municipal infrastructure components.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Compile as-built records for design and record drawings.
• Assist with contract documents for project tendering and execute project design drawings.
• Prepare storm water management quantity and quality calculations.
• Coordinate design with consultant team including electrical engineer, traffic consultant, environmental engineer, and geotechnical engineer.

Skills & Qualifications

• Enrollment in Civil Engineering Degree program from an Accredited Institution.
• Relevant internships or coop experience considered an asset.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
