Child and Youth Respite Coordinator

**The Child and Youth Respite Program Coordinator** oversees the overall operation of the Children and Youth Respite Program, including liaising with funder, families and caregivers. This position involves developing and maintaining organizational and monitoring systems to ensure adequate respite usage, reporting, record keeping and payment. The Program Coordinator provides direction to staff according to the Communitas Vision, Mission and Values as well as HR and Program Policy manuals.

- College level degree in Social Services field and/or equivalent training and experience
- A philosophy of service that is in line with Communitas’ Vision, Mission and Values
- Previous experience working with people living with disabilities
- Excellent communication and mediation skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership, and organizational skills
- High level of personal integrity, initiative and maturity
- Ability to work as a member of the team as well as being able to work independently without supervision
- Willingness to be available for flexible working hours
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word/Excel
- Access to own vehicle for home visits, etc.
- Proof of COVID-19 full vaccination

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.91-$33.74 per hour
