Garden Centre Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Garden Centre Sales Associate to join our team at Scott Conner Human Capital Solutions. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will play a critical role in creating an engaging and inviting customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Display Creation: Collaborate with lead staff to design and implement visually appealing displays that showcase our products in the best possible light.
• Inventory Management: Work closely with management to maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that shelves are stocked and merchandise is easily accessible.
• Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and offering gardening tips and advice to enhance their shopping experience.
Requirements:
• Prior Experience: Previous retail or merchandising experience is highly desirable, but not required.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in an outdoor environment and handle physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 45lbs daily.
• Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons, throughout the season.
