Position Overview

The Commercial Large Loss Estimator is integral to BELFOR’s operations, supporting the efficient execution of projects through precise estimating and effective coordination. This role ensures compliance with organizational and client standards while fostering collaboration among internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and revise construction estimates and repair scopes that meet company and client specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate project documentation in internal systems, ensuring compliance with client-specific processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments, field teams, clients, and third-party administrators to ensure alignment and resolve project-related issues.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze project data, and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
• Support financial functions such as billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable with accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, providing clear and professional communication to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support field operations as needed, including occasional site visits to gather detailed information and confirm project scope.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to protecting sensitive information and client property
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle in accordance with BELFOR’s Auto Policy
• Experience or certification in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, or similar estimating software
• IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, or other relevant credentials)
• Prior experience in construction, restoration, or insurance industries is an asset
