Regional Floral Merchandising Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Regional Floral Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a key representative, you will travel within a designated region to merchandise plant programs in large retailers from mid April to mid June (7 weeks).

Your responsibilities will include traveling to several retail locations within your region to locate incoming orders, ensure they are placed on the sales floor, manage inventory, pricing, and provide maintenance on all items in the retail locations in a designated region.

To succeed in this role, you must have personal transportation that allows you to travel to 2-3 locations per shift in an efficient manner.

Availability to be scheduled for shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (occasionally Friday) between the hours of 8am-4pm is required for this position. Weekly hours will be between 10-16 hrs depending on your location.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working flexible schedules on various programs & projects during different times of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to retail locations within a designated region to merchandise plant programs
• Manage inventory, pricing, and provide maintenance on all items in retail locations
• Locate incoming orders and ensure they are placed on the sales floor
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work varying schedules on different programs & projects
• Ability to bend, lift, push and pull items 20-50lbs during the course of your shift
• Floral or plant maintenance knowledge
• Personable and able to build strong relationships
• Keen to learn new information quickly
• Able to multi-task and efficiently manage time
• Troubleshoot and problem-solving ability
• Merchandising, retail, or labor experience
• Ability to travel 45 mins to 1 hr from your home base
• Access to a cell phone with data for online reporting
