Co-op Civil Engineer Designer Position

Design Team

Join our dynamic design team as a Co-op Civil Engineer Designer! As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various municipal and infrastructure planning projects using Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the design process, which includes:

• Assisting with full-service design of Civil/Municipal engineering projects
• Participating in storm water management, site grading, sanitary sewer and water distribution system design
• Interpreting topographic information required for design
• Completing technical analysis of municipal infrastructure components
• Preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our consultant team, including electrical engineers, traffic consultants, environmental engineers, and geotechnical engineers.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited institution
• Relevant internships or coop experience (considered an asset)
• Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
