You will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating project schedules. You’ll track issues, analyze data, and provide critical reports to stakeholders and clients. Essential Responsibilities:
• Create integrated schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for various project phases
• Participate in project planning during pursuits and respond to RFPs, including reading and analyzing contractual requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Update master schedules bi-weekly and provide narratives for changes from the baseline
• Participates in the tracking of project milestones; assists with the maintenance of the project schedule and baseline schedule
• Prepare and present look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports for internal and client meetings
• Analyze schedule impacts due to changes, delays, or unforeseen conditions and recommend mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain databases for construction productivity rates, procurement durations, lead times, and project risk items
• Supports the subcontract management/procurement process through the tendering and awarding of work or supply materials, processes invoices and progress claims and assists with the review of documents and inquiries
• Performs general administrative and record keeping functions including the review and distribution of documentation; preparation of correspondence and meeting minutes; maintenance of files, logs, drawings, specifications, submittals and RFIs
• Track unplanned events, assess their impacts, and update schedules accordingly
• Work with project managers, superintendents, and teams to define project execution plans and schedules
• Maintains project start-up systems and procedures including job site trailer or office, master filing system, project billings, cost accounting system and project directory

Qualifications:
• 1-3+ years in a Project Coordinator, Scheduler, Planner or similar role
• Residential or Commercial construction site-based experience is required
• Completed post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering or related discipline an asset
• Proficient in Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project
• Strong understanding of construction execution strategies and CPM methodologies
• Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications and current construction practices and methodology
• Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders and interpret their needs
• Willingness to contribute actively in team discussions, sharing experiences and ideas
• Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs; familiar with scheduling software

Work Conditions:
• Project site-based position in Vancouver, British Columbia
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
• Valid drivers license and clean abstract

Compensation

$68,400 - $94,050 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
