About the Fitness Manager Position
The Fitness Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth of personal trainers, client acquisition, and serviced hours at their GoodLife Club. They must ensure exceptional professionalism, results-driven programming, and profitability within the Personal Training department. As an integral part of successful Club Operations, the Fitness Manager creates an engaging and motivating environment that attracts and retains associates and clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruit, select, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of personal trainers
• Lead the personal training team through coaching and development to achieve Club Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Manage the personal training experience by ensuring all sessions meet GoodLife standards
• Oversee personal training administration
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance overall club culture
Requirements and Qualifications
• Nationally recognized personal training certification
• Minimum 1 year of personal training experience
• Proven success in leading, training, and motivating diverse teams to achieve performance goals
• Achievement of individual and team service and sales goals
• Strong customer service skills, relationship building, and influence abilities
• Passion for helping others and commitment to personal health and fitness
• Commitment to contributing to a culture celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion, and values community giving back
