Senior Municipal Infrastructure Project Lead

We are currently seeking a seasoned Municipal Infrastructure Project Lead to join our Northeast BC team. Reporting to the Director, Land Development and Municipal Engineering, this key position will lead project management, design coordination, business development, and municipal infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies, including internal collaboration and resource sharing.
• Manage and deliver large-scale land development and municipal infrastructure projects, encompassing report writing, client liaison, and project management.
• Oversee workload and staffing levels within the department, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing workloads across teams.
• Drive overall financial and operational performance of the department, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Responsible for resource management, including recruitment, team building, staff development, performance management, and salary review processes.
• Provide effective leadership and collaboration with other disciplines, empowering diverse groups of professionals and technical support staff.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in consulting and/or municipal engineering, with 4+ years managing and mentoring technical staff.
• Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for registration with APEGA is required.
• Proven expertise in business development, customer service, client management, proposal/report writing, and extensive experience in Land Development and Municipal Engineering design and construction.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
