Welders – Up to $45.37/hr – Burnaby, BC

FortisBC is hiring Welders to support its gas transmission and distribution systems out of Burnaby, BC. The role involves both shop fabrication and field pipeline welding, including pressure piping and hot tap welds. Ideal for certified welders with experience in pressure systems and CSA Z662 standards, this position offers long-term growth and strong safety culture.

What you’ll need:

• Journeyperson Welder Certificate (Min Level B)
• 5+ years’ experience welding pressure piping/pipelines
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Proven mechanical aptitude and strong shop & field welding experience
• Qualifications under CSA Z662 and related Company welding procedures

• CWB Structural Welding Tickets (SMAW & GMAW)
• Ability to work independently and safely in variable conditions
• Previous field pipeline welding experience under high-pressure conditions
